Big 1! Happy Birthday, Tim.

We had a super, awesome, couldn't-be-better week long vacation celebrating Tim's first year.
1. Momma caught a big bass for Tim on his birthday. We took Tim fishing at Bidwell pond. He loved being in the baby backpack while we fished. Such a super cutie.
2. I took Tim to the Burney pool on his b-day because swimming is his all time favorite. We swam in the big kid pool until Tim was tired, then we went to the baby pool where Tim met a friend that was two months older. They were touching feet (both were too shy to touch hands) then the mom of the other boy showed us how big her son's feet were -- you couldn't tell from under the water. They were huge! About twice the size of Tim's feet...freaky!
3. David, Brian and I went fishing at Bald Mountain Reservoir while Val watched Tim for us. At first, it seemed that the water level was just too shallow and weedy to fish but then Brian struck gold. He found an area of the pond that was about 4 feet deep & it had all the fish. Dave won for the most fish. I won for stepping on the most fish...seriously, there were so many fish in the area that they would splash up behind me while I was wading through the water. Of course, I screamed. I really enjoyed hanging out with Davie.
4. I walked Tim to the the Burney pool almost every day. I loved it (& so did Tim). Tim also hit the swings on the way back from the pool.

5. Relaxing with Uncle Bruce: We fished, ate at the Outpost, played cards. Bruce is funny & calm. I enjoyed hearing about his interesting job & weird boss. It's always fun to hang out with him.

6. Getting more time with Brian and Tim: It was fun to be together with our little family. We got to relax and play a lot. Brian got a lot of fishing time & Tim was a great baby. Tim is doing a lot now. He pulls himself up on things, has a great, sparkly personality and communicates without speaking.

7. No doctor appointments: Enough said. Ahhh...

8. Not worrying about work. Now I think I will enjoy it when I can retire. As long as Brian is retired too, I will love it.

9. Summer time weather -- I love the sunshine & warmth. I love jetskiing -- doing jumps and sharp turns on the stand up ski will never get boring.

10. Getting alone time with Brian. Thanks, Val. :)
